Well i have been avoiding doing one of these cakes for a really long time…there is just something so wrong about cutting into belly that is supposed to be caring a baby!!! but i did it and i am very pleased with the outcome…can’t wait to do another one…thanks for looking!!!

So this poor cake…what can i say about it…it was a great idea!!! this was my second cake disaster…luckily i got this picture before it went down…yes it went down…it was still in the unfinished stage but for some reason decided to take a pic…on the way to the venue it completely broke apart…luckily they were very forgiving and the party continued on to be a great success!! i will get a do over!! but it sure was a cute cake when it was standing!!!

White cake with raspberry mousse filling!!! almond and chocolate cupcakes, frosted in buttercream. Fondant accents and fondant animals!!! First time trying to make animals…i am very please with how they came out!!! we also put on some baby candles and plasitc baby bottles!!!! This cake was for my new neice “Johnni Marie” that should be here any day!!!!

White cake with pineapple-appricot filling…cupcakes are orange and chocolate…all cakes are frosted in buttercream with fondant accents!!!! Babies on top of the cake are also fondant…i just love them!!!! the yellow on this cake was so beautiful…the pictures don’t do it justice at all!!! thanks for looking!!!!

Cake is frosted in buttercream with fondant accents. Shoes are made from fondant and handpainted. There is just something about this cake that i just love….perhaps its the colors or how how cute the shoes came out!!!! thanks for looking…sorry the pics are so small…they are from a phone and for some reason cannot be enlarged!!!!!

White cake frosted in buttercream with fondant accents. Bottom tier is pineapple apricot filling…middle is raspberry and top tier is lemon. I made the shoes from fondant and hand painted them all….i absolutely loved making this cake!!!

This cake was sooo cute….and after i delievered it realized so unfinished!! hahahaha you know what in my defense…it was 107 degrees…the babyshower started at 2pm and no one arrived until 7pm!!! the cake did hold up well i was told!!! but i definately want a do over on this one!!! yellow cake filled with buttercream…the cake was frosted in buttercream and sprayed purple and green with the Colormist spray!!! butterflies are from michaels and flowers, girl and flower pot are all fondant!!!!dirt is crumbled chocolate cake!!!! thanks for looking!!!!

For this cake being made the same day as it was going to be delivered…i thought it came out super cute!!! hahahaha White cake with raspberry mouse!!!
